What is Community Supported Agriculture?

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a direct partnership between a farm and the people it feeds. Members pay upfront at the start of the season to purchase a share of the harvest. That investment helps the farm cover early costs — seeds, soil amendments, and labor — before the first crop is ready. In return, members receive a regular share of whatever is growing and thriving on the farm throughout the season.

Every week, CSA members receive a box of fresh vegetables and herbs harvested just days — or even hours — before it reaches their hands. You eat what is in season, you discover new ingredients, and you know exactly where your food comes from. By joining a CSA, you support a small farm directly and enjoy some of the freshest, most nutrient-dense produce it is possible to find.

What You Get

Seasonal Vegetables

A rotating selection of what is growing at its peak, including turmeric, galangal, and a wide variety of fresh, nutrient-dense produce.

Harvested Fresh Each Week

Your share is picked close to distribution day so it arrives at maximum freshness — no cold storage, no long supply chains.

Flexible Pickup Options

Collect your share directly at the farm or choose a convenient local drop point in the community — we work with your schedule.

Direct Farmer Connection

You know exactly who grew your food. Ask questions, visit the farm, and build a real relationship with the person who feeds your family.

Educational Newsletters

Each box comes with notes about what is growing, how it was raised, and ideas for how to cook or use what you have received that week.

How It Works

  1. Fill Out the Inquiry Form

Use the form below to tell us a little about yourself — your household size, pickup preferences, and how ready you are to join. There is no commitment yet, just a conversation starter.

  2. David Will Reach Out

After you submit your inquiry, David will personally follow up to discuss current availability, share sizes, pricing, and any questions you have about the farm or the program.

  3. Choose Your Share and Get Started

Pick the share size that fits your household, set your preferred pickup arrangement, and you are all set. Fresh produce from Pixie Farm will start showing up in your kitchen.
